"Salt Bone"

(2017)

"Salt Bone"

(2017)

A fresh, surreal poem of boldness amidst barrenness. Salt Bone was filmed in Larnaca, Cyprus and was inspired by the barren landscape of an empty salt lake, the sense of timelessness within the country, and the underlying female power that resonates throughout the people and sceneries of Cyprus, the birth place of Aphrodite.

"Do you like my hair?"

(2017)

Do you like my hair? explores the idea of gender as social construct by juxtaposing the “past,” represented by the Victorian costumes, the “present,” represented by the gender-bending casting of the film bringing up the question what defines “female,” and the “future,” the space where the dance is filmed is a white box within a box representing science, politics, and the openness of the future of gender.
